Two women. One Howard legacy.

The inspiration
A Howard alumna and longtime associate dean, Dr. Davis coined “ONE GOD ONE HEAVEN ONE HOWARD.” The founder first encountered her phrase while officiating her celebration of life and is carrying it forward with her family’s permission.

The legacy
Professor Emerita of Communication Sciences and Disorders at Howard University. A Howard graduate who later earned her Ph.D. there, she taught and mentored for more than four decades within a family connection to Howard spanning five generations.
“Howard was not a chapter of her life; it was the through-line of it.”More about Dr. Payne
